An evening dedicated to shared beauty

On the evening of Friday 24 October, we hosted Bureau Bertoli’s Circle16 for the first time and a preview screening of Francesca Occhionero’s documentary Diana & Minerva (2025). Bureau Bertoli is an art consultancy firm based in London and Lugano that offers personalised art advisory and interior design services, combining expertise in modern and contemporary art collecting with the search for pieces of design excellence.
Veragouth e Xilema × Bureau Bertoli × Circle16
On Friday, 24 October, we had the pleasure of hosting an event at our company in collaboration with Bureau Bertoli, bringing together art, design and contemporary thought. Circle16, founded by Bureau Bertoli, is a community that creates spaces for encounter and shared beauty, curating experiences in art, design, literature and philosophy to offer its members moments of dialogue and inspiration.
The collaboration with Bureau Bertoli in hosting this evening stems from a shared set of values: attention to detail, quality of materials, and the importance of time and the process of transformation. Veragouth and Xilema fully identify with these principles and have decided to highlight this parallelism by organising an unusual event within the company, emphasising these values through the stark contrast between the formal delicacy of the works presented and the exhibition context.
Diana & Minerva: an encounter between myth and modernity
The evening began with a welcome aperitif prepared by Altatto, a Milanese plant-based haute cuisine collective, and inspired by Diana & Minerva’s Mexico; guests were greeted with mezcalita, accompanied by South American-inspired finger food. This was followed by a preview screening of the short film Diana & Minerva (2025) by Francesca Occhionero, a work that moves between dream and introspection, myth and everyday life, in a silent dialogue between femininity, nature and transformation. The screening was accompanied by an artist’s talk between the artist and Valeria Bertoli, founder of Bureau Bertoli and Circle16, who explored the themes related to the short film.
Francesca Occhionero (1986) is a multidisciplinary artist with a background in fashion that has refined her view of the body, femininity and aesthetics. With Diana & Minerva, the artist imagines a telephone conversation between two female presences in a 1980s Mexican kitchen, a suspended space where documentary observation intertwines with inner flow and visual imagination.
The experience continued with a dinner, where Altatto interpreted the shared philosophy of the event with a specially created menu.
