At the gates of Solduno, in a densely urbanized area, a four adjacent housing units project is suggested as a new orderly element. The new buildings are located along a neighbourhood road, and are developed on three levels, with the entrance on the intermediate floor. On the access floor, the road leading to the units is characterized by recurring arcades and by courtyards. On the ground floor, south facing living and kitchen areas overlook the garden while the courtyards face north.

Ultimately, on the second floor, the more intimate living spaces are oriented towards a large terrace framing the sky and the Alpine scenery to the south. Veragouth and Xilema’s installation, although limited to the interior, gives the housing units a strong aesthetic character. From the meticulously inserted custom-made elements to the warm oak wood colour enhancing the contrast with the exposed concrete of the ceiling and the charcoal floors.
