Policentro Anziani Losone

With a multipurpose facility equipped with a medical center and sixty rooms, the Policentro Anziani Losone is the new reference in the area for the reception, care, and treatment of people. In the project of Michele Arnaboldi Architetti's studio, the well-being and quality of life of the residents are central so that they can feel at any time within a familiar and comfortable environment. It was with this goal in mind that Veragouth and Xilema took great care in the carpentry work within the architecture, starting with the cladding of the corridors of the common areas, with fixed furniture integrated into the masonry and the flush doors that rhythm the distribution of the building to the various rooms from the large central space. The furnishings in each room include a desk with a chair and a bed made to design. The entire wall of the rooms facing the new park in front of the building is occupied by large window frames custom-designed by our Technical Office team, finished in anodized aluminum natural outside and oak wood with natural bleached treatment inside and special inner and outer corner shapes. The whole project pays special attention to natural light; windows compose the facades with precise rhythms of light that mark the exposed concrete structure.
