Casa Macchi in Cureglia presents itself as a single body inserted perpendicular to the slight slope of the land and is close to the access of the private road that serves it. The solution adopted for the building did not envisage any major changes to the original ground, except for a small intervention in the entrance area, choosing to leave the course of the land intact. This allows the house to emerge naturally from its surroundings. The interior of Casa Macchi also adapts to the original morphology, structuring the heights of the rooms according to the two orientations. The most private area of the house is located to the east while the meeting spaces rise to the west. The presence of two terraces connects the interior and exterior spaces to the west. For this project, Veragouth and Xilema realised the wooden-aluminium windows and doors in larch wood.
